Why we are called Nobody
“Nobody knows how. Nobody can connect to these systems.”
That is what Ville kept hearing about the automation already installed in existing buildings. He founded the company in 2018 around open data models, the Brick and Haystack layer underneath digital twins, and worked through logistics, heavy industry and energy before landing in buildings around 2020.
The blocker there was not the data model. It was getting any data out of the systems already installed. So he named the company after the answer he kept hearing, and built Isabel, the edge unit that connects them. Today a small team in Tampere and Barcelona connects the building automation that nobody else could.
